Dance

My friend Taylor, asked me to come photograph her girls at her dance studio. I did it of course as a friend and someone who had never really shot dance and was curious. I didn’t expect it to hit me as hard as it did.

As I got home, I couldn’t help but think of how much love I felt between her and her students. It made me so happy and proud that I could help those girls and parents remember this period of their lives. I could see and feel that they were family. The amount of time they spent making their dances and perfecting them was incredible.

Later on, she invited me to come see her girls perform at a dance competition and to have had the opportunity to meet them before and to see those dances come to fruition was freakin awesome!
